This E-Forum will present experiences from existing studies and analysis of clean energy opportunities and discuss the potential role for smart grid to add value and increase cost effectiveness. The target audience is federal and state energy and environmental officials, regulators, consumer advocates, Congressional staff, and new members of the Obama Administration. But, the E-Forum will be open to everyone including utilities, manufacturers, developers, environmental groups, and the general public.

The panelists were asked to focus on the practical reality and experiences that their companies are having. Each speaker discussed their specific experiences and what it means to their company and what is being accomplished.
